Slow down in Shenandoah County by trading Interstate I-81 for U.S. Route 11, the Old Valley Pike. Traveling Route 11 is best way to enjoy views of our fields and the charm of our towns with plenty of stops available for those looking for great local restaurants or places to stop and shop or browse antiques.
For a true road trip, travel one of our many designated Virginia Byways. Routes 600, 675, 42, and 263 are some of the most beautiful routes in our county.
Routes 42 and 263 will take you through winding mountain roads to Bryce Resort.
For a great loop, take Route 55 west to Route 600 (Back Road) South back to either 623 or US Route 11 North.
Another great loop is Route 11 South to Route 675 West (Stoney Creek Blvd) in Edinburg back to 623 North.
Roll your windows down, slow down and enjoy the views.
