Lake Laura at Bryce Resort - 1982 Fairway Drive, Basye 540-856-2121 Lake Laura is a 45-acre, man-made, private lake with a grassy beach area. There is NO lifeguard on duty. Activities include swimming, boating, fishing. Pets, alcoholic beverages or grills are not permitted at the lake. Boats stored on Resort property require a valid permit. The annual fee is $30. Permits may be obtained at the Bryce Resort Administration Office. Nature-lovers enjoy the 3-mile hiking trail around the lake throughout the year. The walk to the beach area is a vigorous one!
