Shenandoah Vineyards, the oldest winery in the Shenandoah Valley and fouth in Virginia, combines old work techniques with modern technology to produce a variety of impecable wines. With a peaceful and inviting setting, freshly mown pathways separate the neat rows of gnarled vines. Gift shop features wine realted gifts, and select items from area artisans. North Mountain Vineyard & Winery -- 4374 Swartz Road, Maurertown    540-436-9463  Hours:  Wednesday-Sunday  11:00am to 5:00pm. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Days.  This distinctive winery was built in 1989 and modeled after a European-style farmhouse.  Here you will find a below ground cellar and a cozy tasting room with beautiful views. 

Wolf Gap Vineyard -- This newly established vineyard, 5 miles west of Edinburg will specialize in producing and marketing exclusive small batchs of popular vintage reds, whites, and blends. Chardonnay and Chambourcine vines have been planted and will produce their first wines in 2007. Full winery production should be in place by summer of 2007 when wine tastings will be offered from the second story deck that looks out over the valley. The eventual seven acres of vines will be surrounded by a lush woods honecombed with nature trails.

La Provencale Cellars--402 Patmos Road, Woodstock. 888.532.4373 888.532.4373 La Provençale Cellars is a gourmet apple products firm that brings several selections to the specialty foods market. Le Mousseux, a gourmet sparkling apple cider, shows the sophisticated flavor of a blend of several Virginia apple varieties in a distinctive non-alcoholic bubbly, perfect for weddings, parties, family celebrations. Our other products include apple butters and spreads and a collection of savories for cooking. Sorry, no Retail Outlet.

Cave Ridge Vineyards -- Cave Ridge Vineyards is finally open to the public. Cave Ridge is located 1476 Conicville Road , Mt. Jackson , Virginia . (540)477-2585. Cave Ridge is a family owned and operated vineyard and winery located in the foothills overlooking the Shenandoah Valley, world renowned for its scenic beauty and history. Low rainfall and deep, rocky soils make this an ideal location for growing the highest quality grapes used in making our wines. Our approach is to produce wines that emphasize the fruit character of the grape using a minimalist approach to our winemaking. Sustainable farming practices are followed at Cave Ridge to promote a healthy ecosystem for future generations.

Match all this with the night sounds of summer, fragrant aromas filling the air. This is summer nights at Crooked Run Cellars. A carefully refurbished bank barn houses the tasting room; boasting an expansive deck, quiet fragrant gardens, and soothing water gardens. Looking for a quite secluded  afternoon picnic? We have various areas set up throughout the 128 acres to fit any needs. Picnic in the woods,  a meadow under a large shade tree, or  a gazebo with grand views of the valley...we have it all.  Check our website for Saturday night concerts, Friday night barn dances and other various events.
